Who knew Feminist Economics was a must-read at the U.N.?

When United Nations officials needed the latest research findings on the role gender plays in economics this past June, they called on Rice University Professor Diana Strassmann. And no wonder. As the founder and editor of the peer-reviewed journal Feminist Economics, Strassmann has been a leader in researching and highlighting these issues. Since she established the publication in 1994, it has continued to grow in influence.
