Think hitting the books means missing all the fun? Not if you attend Rice. In a nationwide survey of 122,000 students attending 371 colleges, the Princeton Review found that Rice’s students ranked it No. 1 in quality of life. They cited campus beauty and safety, dorm comfort, good food, a happy and friendly student body, and capable administration as just a few of the reasons why. But the accolades didn’t stop there. The Princeton Review also ranked Rice No. 8 for “happiest students,” No. 11 for “lots of race/class interaction” and No. 19 for “great financial aid” in its popular guidebook “The Best 371 Colleges.” In other words, you can have an outstanding time in college — and still stand out from the crowd.
