Who knew a glass house was only a stone's throw away?

Brochstein Pavilion

You can’t throw stones in glass houses — but there's no rule against serving coffee in them. Since Sunday, April 27, that's exactly what Rice has been doing at the new Raymond and Susan Brochstein Pavilion. With glass walls, plasma screen TVs, upholstered seating and a hip new coffee bar, the 6,042-square-foot pavilion provides a central hot spot for camaraderie and refreshments on campus. It's the latest marvel at Rice: a glass house that answers the question, "Where can I find hot coffee and cool conversation?"
