Who knew Owls could defeat Cougars, Longhorns and Bears?

When it comes to college baseball, no one soars like the Rice University Owls. In fact, Baseball America recently ranked the Owls the best college baseball program in the country. And no wonder. Besides boasting players with consistently high GPAs and graduation rates to match their top ERAs and batting averages, the program has launched the major league careers of a whopping 25 players. And under the guidance of legendary coach Wayne Graham, the Owls won the 2003 National Championship and have cinched 13 straight conference championships, made 14 consecutive NCAA tournament appearances and won their way to seven College World Series events.
